Personal Experience
I’ve been creating my own vision boards since I was 18-19 years old. That means most of my adult life, I was heading towards my goals armed with my manifestations. Although some of my goals changed throughout the years, I can attest to the power of seeing your biggest desires right in front of yourself every day. There’s something immensely powerful in being reminded day after day what you’re working towards. And I’m pretty sure the Universe works in mysterious ways because last year some of the craziest things came to fruition that I put onto my board fully aware that they are not possible to happen that year. But they did…
After 2023, we decided to leave our apartment behind and move to a different place due to many personal changes and for some reason I put a picture of a cat on my vision board for 2024, fully knowing that where we were not allowed pets in the new place. The strangest things happened, and without going into too much detail, we have two beautiful kitties now living with us. I did not plan for this nor acted in any way towards this becoming a reality, it happened to be fully out of my control. But it was fun looking at that picture and knowing how much it meant that I put that out into the Universe.
That being said, most things on your vision board will not work like this, and you will be required to put effort into your dreams every single day. But I just felt obligated to tell you this story to show you how fun and unexpected life can be.

Setting Your Goals
When it comes to setting your goals, it’s important to be specific and intentional. Consider what you truly want to achieve in 2025 and break it down into smaller, actionable steps. By clearly defining your goals, you can better visualize them and stay motivated to work towards them. This will set the foundation for success and guide you towards the life you desire.
Try to break down your goals into personal, career, or even materialistic categories and define them very clearly. For example, don’t just say I want to get a raise this year. Define the exact amount of money you would want to make. Don’t be afraid to dream big!
Now, let’s dive into how to choose visuals that will align with your goals and inspire you to take action.,
Choosing Your Visuals
Choosing your visuals is a crucial step in creating a vision board that truly reflects your dreams and aspirations. Think about images and words or quotes that resonate with you and represent your goals. Whether it’s pictures of a dream vacation destination, a new job title, or a healthier lifestyle, the visuals you choose should spark motivation within you and represent you deepest desires you want to achieve.
I like to start with a quote in the middle that represents my overall goal for the year best. This is something that I think I need to work on the most and it should be in the center of my mind every day. Then I like to create a board on Pinterest and start to collect pictures that are very close to what I wrote down. Sometimes you could even create exact images of numbers for example that you wrote down to be as close to your original list as possible.
Choose visuals that cover all areas of your life – career, relationships, personal growth, health, and more.Make it visually appealing and fitting to you. Remember, this is your roadmap to success, so make sure the visuals you select speak to you and evoke positive emotions.
Assembling Your Vision Board
Once you have gathered all your materials, it’s time to start assembling your vision board. This is probably the most fun part of the whole thing!
Lay out all your visuals and quotes in a way that feels right to you. Whether you prefer a structured grid or a more free-flowing arrangement, the key is to create a layout that resonates with you. As you glue down each element (or you can use a digital vision board and create it in Canva or Photoshop), take a moment to visualize yourself achieving each goal depicted on your board. This process will help solidify your intentions and make them feel more achievable.
What I also like to do every year is to create mini vision boards that I will use as phone wallpapers. I usually have two of these one work-related and one more for personal goals. Later, I’ll use these as wallpapers in my Work Focus and Personal Focus. I always make sure to use my chosen quote in the middle of these wallpapers as well, so it always stands out.

Utilizing Your Vision Board
Now that your vision board is complete, let’s dive into how you can utilize it to manifest your ideal future. Utilizing your vision board is not just about creating it and leaving it on display—it requires active work.
Place your vision board in a prominent location where you will see it every day, such as by your desk or on your bedroom wall or – if you made a digital one like I’ve been doing the last two years – as your desktop wallpaper. Take a few moments each morning (or during the day) to look at your board and visualize yourself achieving your goals. Use it as a source of motivation and a reminder of the dreams you are working towards. By consistently engaging with your vision board, you will stay focused on your aspirations and be more likely to take the necessary steps to turn them into reality.
Staying Committed to Your Dreams
Staying committed to your dreams, even when faced with challenges or setbacks, is essential for achieving the life you desire. It’s important to remind yourself of the reasons behind your vision board and the goals you have set for yourself. When obstacles arise, use your vision board as a source of inspiration and motivation to keep pushing forward. Remember that setbacks are a natural part of any journey toward success. It’s crucial to stay focused on the bigger picture. By maintaining your commitment to your dreams, you are taking active steps towards realizing the life you have envisioned.
